IS there an advantage to marking people as friend and family as opposed to one or the other?
There was an article in this week's Macleans about some University of Waterloo (where I went to school) math students who were also board game addicts (particularly Settlers of Cattan.) It said how many of them are taking so much longer to finish their degrees. One guy has been there for nine years and hopes to graduate this fall! A few other they interviewed took five or six years to finish a three year degree. Some others had to drop out completely or switch to a less intensive program. Apparently, some of these games can go on for 72 hours! It was funny to read because Scott kept telling me funny stories of the lounge where they would play and the people who would hang out there.
